Responsibilities

  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies.
  • Documents system requirements, defines scope and objectives, and creates system specifications that drive system development and implementation.
  • Functions as a liaison between IT and users and has both business and technical expertise.
  • Provides technical advice and guidance to customers, field employees, and managers both orally and in writing on commercial product acceptance policies, programs, and regulations.
  • Typically performs all functional duties independently.
  • Works on high-visibility, or mission-critical aspects of a given program, and performs all functional duties independently.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team.
  • Makes time-sensitive deliverables and responds directly to incidents in ServiceNow.
  • Led project teams within assigned unit to develop, plan, and manage project tasks.
  • Independently analyzes and develops innovative resolutions for complex problems involving availability and/or performance at the component level.
  • Works with vendors to resolve problems; implements solutions independently.
  • Responsible for problem resolution for advanced technical issues in the environment.
  • Conducts data analysis in support of product acceptance programs and initiatives; collects and analyzes data to identify trends and insights and summarizes findings.
  • Develops reports and makes recommendations based on results.
  • Analyzes package mail entry data to reconcile customer payments; monitors and ensures customer payments are received accurately and timely.
  • Develops and presents recommendations to management to improve the monitoring and accuracy of revenue collection.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to reconcile customer accounts and payments and determine if refunds are warranted.
  • Proficient in manual and automated testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Experience in creating test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Knowledge of QA processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks to perform automated testing to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
  • Experience in using AI-assisted tools for test case creation or execution (a plus).
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills for effective problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration with the team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and report bugs effectively.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of ten (10) years experience in business analysis, software development, and/or related field.
  • Able to perform all functional duties independently.
  • Experience training/mentoring less experienced personnel.
  • Solid knowledge of and experience in software development and testing, preferably using different methodologies and lifecycles (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, etc).
  • Broad experience evaluating software designs against business and technical requirements to ensure correctness.
  • Broad experience leading small teams and/or technical projects in the successful completion of assigned goals/objectives.
  • Experience writing and reviewing a broad range of technical documentation, especially technical specifications and design documents.
