Senior Technical Business Analyst

About the role

As a Senior Technical Business Analyst at Grant Street Group, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs and translating them into technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, IT, and operations to ensure that all projects meet both business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Work with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed technical specifications and user stories based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and other IT teams to ensure alignment between business and technical requirements.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of new systems and processes.
• Provide guidance and training to users on the effective use of new tools and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical business analyst role.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and JBehave.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Understanding of cloud-based services and platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Pay

Base salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
