Senior Technical Architect

Responsibilities

• Cognos metadata modeling using data modules/Framework Manager, fact & dimensional modeling, SAS, SQL, and quality control.
• Lead full development lifecycle within Cognos reporting solution deployment.
• Design and develop efficient Cognos framework manager packages and data modules.
• Arcitect healthcare data management solutions to propose dashboards and operational reporting that improve executive decision-making.
• Develop and maintain strategies, technical standards, blueprints, and technology roadmaps.
• Analyze feasibility and compatibility of Cognos solutions with normalized/denormalized Data Warehouses.
• Develop data workflows, processes, and SOPs for analytics delivery.
• Increase reporting efficiencies and accuracy through advanced analytical techniques.
• Prepare and present analytical initiatives to executive management.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, business liaisons, and vendor representatives.

Required Skills

• SAS tools, SAS MACROS, Enterprise Guide, Design Studio
• 7+ years of Cognos and SQL expertise including table joins in normalized data warehouses
• 7+ years of strong problem diagnosis and resolution skills
• 7+ years of ability to manage client data requests and discern requirements for analysis/design
• 7+ years of experience with Cognos framework manager, dashboard/report design, and deployment
• 7+ years of expertise in Cognos report performance tuning with large datasets
• 7+ years of Advanced drill-down report and dashboard development using Cognos Analytics
• 7+ years of Architecting efficient Cognos metadata models with framework manager and data modules
