Technical Challenges

As a Senior Technical Application Specialist, you will identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to Vision ERP software, providing ongoing technical support to our customers in the automotive parts field.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and maintain current knowledge of Vision ERP software.
  • Provide software and hardware support for existing customers.
  • Diagnose technical and/or system problems via phone, email, or chat; troubleshoot, repair, and test solutions; fully document and escalate if necessary.
  • Follow procedures to troubleshoot client-server software application issues involving Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Server, and network printers.
  • Stay up-to-date with software updates and changes to provide timely and accurate solutions to customers.
  • Contribute to and use the department's knowledge base articles and FAQs.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in service support.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Server and Unidata or other PICK Databases.
  • Database management and architecture experience.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is an asset.
  • Experience with documenting procedures.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and dedication to the customer service experience.
  • Dependability to be at work during assigned shifts and to complete work as expected.
  • Familiarity with Windows server and desktop environments.
  • Ability to multitask and meet specific goals set by supervisors and management.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Excel, Word, ERP applications, or analytical tools.
  • Good knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, UDP).
  • Knowledge of financial, manufacturing, retail, or distribution business processes.
  • Database administration, installation, and configuration experience.
  • Willingness to travel for business as required.
  • Ability to work all available shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
