Senior Technical Analyst

Job Summary

The Sr. Technical Analyst at St. David's North Austin Medical Center adheres to and supports HCA IT policies and procedures, recommending process changes that improve the implementation, maintenance, and support of facility-based IT equipment.

Qualifications

• Two years of broad technical experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or healthcare-related field preferred
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task
• Proactive management of resources and workload
• Strong analytical skills
• Customer orientation and strong analytical, math, and reasoning abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Basic certification in Cisco equipment or Microsoft Products desirable

Duties

• Implements and supports facility-based IT&S equipment
• Provides advanced, hands-on technical support
• Communicates and escalates incidents and requests
• Provides 24x7 on-call support
• Investigates hardware problems and performs minor repairs
• Acts as facility lead on technical project implementations
• Aids and trains users on technology use
• Mentors and trains Division Technical Analysts
• Participates in facility-based IT project planning
• Works with division and corporate IT&S personnel
• Adheres to and supports HCA IT&S standards, policies, and procedures
• Maintains and protects confidentiality of patient care and employee information
• Works on-call support based on division IT staff rotation
