Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level guidance on advanced computing systems including high-performance computing (HPC), quantum computing, and advanced microelectronics.
- Deliver technical expertise on IT&DS capabilities including enterprise architecture, infrastructure, data management, and artificial intelligence.
- Provide oversight and advisory support to technology development efforts.
- Develop technical options with comprehensive feasibility, viability, and cost analyses.
- Design, analyze, and assess advanced computing systems and their applications.
- Develop technical and written work products including detailed analysis reports.
- Validate that IT&DS capabilities meet mission needs through requirements analysis and testing.
- Ensure all technical subject matter is readily understandable by senior-level audiences.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable governance frameworks and technical standards.
- Affirmatively assist in determining appropriate software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, DevSecOps).
- Establish and collect performance metrics for advanced computing initiatives.
- Support compliance with security protocols and classification requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and communicate complex technical information.
- Schedule, organize, and host project-related meetings (in-person and virtual).
- Translate advanced computing concepts for executive and non-technical audiences.
- Provide briefings and presentations to senior leadership.
- Contribute to technical reports, program management reviews, and status reports.
- Support development of Program Management Plans (PMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Prepare monthly contract status reports and deliverables as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technical assessments and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship is required.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree + 8 years of experience OR Master’s Degree + 6 years of experience OR PhD + 4 years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED + 12 years of experience OR Associate's degree + 10 years of experience.
- Experience in the design, function, and applications of advanced computing systems with specialized knowledge in related areas such as high-performance computing, quantum computing, and advanced microelectronics.
- Experience in developing technical and written work products that include analysis and assessment of advanced computing systems, ensuring subject matter is readily understandable by senior-level audience.
