This onsite position will be located at our Cityline building in Richardson, TX. U.S. citizenship is required, as the role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued DoD Secret security clearance. An active and existing security clearance is required after day one.
About the role
The Engineering Project Assistant (EPA) will assist engineers with non-technical tasks such as administrative, documentation, process, and general engineering-related support activities. This individual will serve as the primary engineering support focal point for inquiries and problem resolution, coordinate and lead activities, and demonstrate strong organization and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and format engineering documentation
- Submit documents to Software Control Library (SCL) and track progress
- Perform Data Transfer Agent (DTA) duties
- Support the Peer Review process utilizing the PREP tool
- Provide tools expertise and support to Engineering
- Support the Third-Party Intellectual Property (TPIP) process by coordinating completion of documentation
- DOORS Administration – create user accounts and manage group/member access
- Assist in tracking action items and tasks for risk management and change management processes
- Collect metrics and support the preparation of presentation materials
- Support the Bid & Proposal process by reviewing bid narratives
- Grant access to drives, repositories, and labs
- Order and track parts
- Create meeting minutes for internal and external customer meetings
- Work with engineering teams to effectively resolve issues
- Assist Engineering leads with various project management tasks as required
Requirements
- Typically requires a high school diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Prior experience working on teams in a collaborative environment
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Pay
The salary range for this role is $43,400 – $82,600 USD.
