Our client, a leading convenience retail company, is seeking a Senior Teams Voice Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize their Microsoft Teams Voice environment, including enterprise voice infrastructure, Direct Routing, and unified communications solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for Microsoft Teams Phone, Direct Routing, and unified communications services
- Design, configure, and maintain Teams Voice solutions, including dial plans, voice policies, auto attendants, and call queues
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SIP signaling, call quality, carrier connectivity, and enterprise voice infrastructure
- Support and maintain Cisco CUCM, Microsoft Teams Voice, SIP trunking, and related telephony platforms
- Collaborate with telecommunications carriers, Microsoft, and third-party vendors to ensure voice service availability and performance
- Lead and support migrations from legacy telephony systems to Microsoft Teams Phone solutions
- Monitor system health, perform maintenance activities, document technical procedures, and implement platform enhancements
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise voice or unified communications environments
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Teams Phone, Direct Routing, and Teams Voice administration
- Hands-on experience with Cisco CUCM and enterprise telephony platforms
- Strong understanding of VoIP technologies and protocols including SIP, RTP, H.323, and MGCP
- Experience troubleshooting call quality, network connectivity, and voice infrastructure issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced enterprise environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cisco Finesse or contact center integrations
- Experience supporting enterprise video conferencing and collaboration platforms
- Knowledge of Operator Connect and Microsoft Teams Voice migrations
- Experience working with telecommunications carriers and third-party voice providers
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms and incident management processes
- Experience creating technical documentation and knowledge base articles
- Background supporting convenience retail, fuel operations, or supply chain organizations

Pay
The approximate pay range for this position is between $40.00 and $48.00 per hour.
