Senior Tax Staff

About the role

The Tax Senior at MaloneBailey, LLP participates in and leads staff on tax engagements. They prepare US corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns, assist with tax provision preparation, tax planning, tax consulting projects, and perform other duties as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state corporation, partnership and individual tax returns.
• Prepare international informational tax returns.
• Affiliate with tax provision preparation.
• Affiliate with tax planning and tax consulting projects.
• Affiliate with tax research memos for clients with analysis and application of IRC sections and regulations.
• Represent client in front of the IRS, including assisting in IRS and state tax audits.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Education and Licenses

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field AND a Master’s degree in accounting.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Actively working toward CPA certification, if not already obtained.
