Tax Projections
- Create comprehensive income tax projections for Range members.
- Develop detailed tax projections to estimate clients' future tax obligations.
- Construct various tax scenarios to illustrate the impact of different financial decisions.
- Identify instances of under-withholding or over-withholding of taxes.
- Calculate appropriate quarterly estimated tax payments.
- Advise on IRS Safe Harbor rules for making quarterly estimated tax payments.
Tax Planning
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits.
- Analyze household data to identify opportunities for tax optimization and cost savings.
- Mitigate tax risks through effective planning and documentation in areas such as:
- Retirement Planning
- Charitable Giving
- Education Savings
- Stock Options and Equity Compensation
- Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) Planning
- Real Property Investments
- Salt Optimization
- International Taxation
- Estate and Gift Tax Planning
Tax Return Review and Filing
- Conduct thorough reviews of individual tax returns.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain detailed tax records and documentation.
- Submit tax returns to the relevant tax authorities.
- Resolve issues related to tax return filing.
- Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in tax planning and tax return review.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in tax software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
