Senior Tax Manager / Tax Director - Fully Remote - Salary up to $250k+

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager or Tax Director to join our fully remote team. This position is ideal for an experienced public accountant with a minimum of 10+ years of public accounting and tax experience, with at least 3+ years of tax manager experience. The successful candidate will handle reviews and lead engagements, demonstrate strong compliance, tax planning skills, and knowledge of various tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead tax engagements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax laws and regulations
• Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive tax strategies and plans
• Prepare and review tax returns (1040s, 1065, 1120S, 1120, etc.)
• Provide guidance on tax issues and regulatory changes
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other professionals

Requirements

• Active CPA license
• Minimum 10+ years of public accounting and tax experience
• At least 3+ years of tax manager experience
• Currently serving as a tax manager handling reviews and leading engagements

Qualifications

• Strong compliance, tax planning, and knowledge of multiple types of tax returns
