Senior Tax Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $200,000 to $250,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Lead corporate tax activities by overseeing tax reporting, compliance processes, and strategic tax planning initiatives. Prepare and review tax provisions, financial analyses, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate reporting. Partner with accounting, legal, finance, and external advisors to evaluate the tax impact of business transactions and organizational changes. Manage relationships with tax authorities, support audit activities, and respond to regulatory inquiries as needed. Drive process improvements, automation efforts, and operational enhancements that increase efficiency and accuracy. Requirements 7+ years of tax experience within public accounting, corporate tax, or a related environment. Demonstrate strong experience with tax provision accounting, corporate taxation, and financial reporting requirements. Possess knowledge of federal tax regulations, compliance obligations, and tax reporting practices. Maintain advanced Excel skills and experience managing complex financial and tax related analyses. Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously. Qualifications Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate tax positions, financial data, and regulatory matters. Communicate complex tax concepts effectively to accounting teams, leadership, advisors, and business partners. Demonstrate strong project management abilities while coordinating multiple workstreams and priorities. Work independently in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail. Bring experience with real estate, partnership taxation, transaction related tax matters, international tax concepts, or advanced tax planning initiatives considered beneficial.
