Responsibilities

  • Provide compliance and consulting services to BT principals
  • Perform technical reviews of complex individual tax returns and all supporting documentation
  • Build technical competence by applying new developments to complex situations
  • Support a workload of approximately 80–85 principal engagements
  • Invest in your professional development through individual efforts and participation in firmwide learning and development programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, or a related business field
  • CPA or EA strongly preferred; CPA eligibility required
  • Two or more years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services for high-net-worth individuals
  • Experience with multistate individual tax compliance, including knowledge of composite returns, withholding, and pass-through entity taxation
  • Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in CCH Axcess, PDFlyer, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred

Pay

The pay rate ranges for this position are listed below. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.

National pay rate range: $79,050 - $118,580
