Senior Tax Analyst

About the role

The Finance Team collaborates as a strategic partner to all internal departments across Mammoth Brands. We sell our products around the world through multiple channels with on-the-ground teams and offices in New York, the United Kingdom and Germany. As Mammoth Brands’ revenue grows, so does the complexity of our business – we need an experienced tax professional to help build out and maintain all things tax at Mammoth Brands.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the finance team in developing and implementing a robust tax function and processes
• Develop and execute tax planning and risk reduction strategies
• Coordinate the tax review and audit process with our external financial statement auditors
• Manage relationships with third-party tax providers
• Assist with the quarterly and year-end tax provision and related tax journal entries
• Support the development of internal controls
• Collaborate with other departments on tax-related matters

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience at a public accounting firm and/or with a multi-national public company corporate tax department or high-growth start-up
• A strong understanding of U.S. federal and state income tax and/or indirect tax matters
• Familiarity with developing and executing tax planning and risk reduction strategies
• Familiarity with implementing internal controls
• Exposure to and understanding of international tax regulations is a plus
• CPA and a Masters in Tax is a plus

Pay

The base salary hiring range for this position is $110,000-$120,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate’s location, skill level and experience.

Schedule

Mammoth Brands' working model is in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Our beautiful 70,000 square foot SoHo office is decked out with bagels on Wednesdays and lunch on Thursdays, and fully stocked kitchens with snacks, coffee, and drinks everyday.
