About the role
As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will join the Tax Advisory Services team and be responsible for:
- Various tax compliance and advisory services
- Preparation and review of corporate, individual and partnership tax returns
- Tax compliance, research, transaction analysis and planning
Responsibilities
Act as a trusted member of the engagement team and provide various tax compliance and advisory services.
- Prepare and review various returns for engagements for a variety of clients across multiple industries from middle market to multinational companies
- Stay up-to-date on new standards and laws, participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues, help to draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries
- Proactively communicate with engagement team and client on complicated tax matters and specialty tax practices
Requirements
You will need:
- A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of three years of public accounting experience
- CPA license eligibility
- A highly motivated self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
- Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel and Power Point
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting
- Has minimum of three years of public accounting experience
- Is eligible for CPA license
- Is a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
- Has strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
