About the role
We're looking for a Senior Tax Accountant ready for greater client ownership, continued technical growth, and a path toward future leadership. This role involves preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, fiduciary, and trust tax returns, as well as providing proactive tax planning, research, and practical guidance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, fiduciaries, and trusts.
- Provide proactive tax planning, research, and practical guidance to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Communicate complex tax matters clearly and confidently.
- Collaborate with professionals across integrated financial services.
- Demonstrate ownership of client relationships and engagements.
Requirements
- Active CPA license or EA (preferred and prioritized).
- 3–5 years of recent public accounting tax experience.
- Strong experience with individual and business taxation.
- Genuine interest in developing client relationships and future leadership opportunities.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Fargo, ND.
