About the role
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a CPA license and at least five years of experience, with a preference for nonprofit tax return experience. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing partnership, S-corp, C-corp, individual, trust/estate tax returns, communicating with clients as a trusted advisor, mentoring and leading entry-level employees, and managing client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Preparation/Review of partnership, S-corp, C-corp, individual, trust/estate tax returns
- Communicating with clients as a trusted advisor regarding tax compliance and planning
- Mentoring and leading entry-level employees
- Corresponding with taxing authorities regarding tax notices as needed
- Performing tax research and staying current on latest federal and state tax law changes
Requirements
- CPA license required
- Minimum five years of experience; nonprofit tax return experience is a plus
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple client engagements
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively delegate work
- Comfortable with complex returns and high net worth clients
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
