Responsibilities
- Develops targets and target systems for joint lethal and / or non lethal engagements.
- Develops target nominations, creates database records, and databases target intelligence products.
- Produces all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments and assists with combat assessment requirements.
- Conducts collateral damage estimation, performs target list management, target strategy development, and provides joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements.
- Provides recommendations for target prioritization to achieve commander objectives for plans and operations.
- Provides database nominations, creates and updates database and uploads TMs into databases.
Requirements
- MA or MS in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 10 years CURRENT Intelligence Analysis experience;
- OR BA/BS degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND at least 15 years of Intelligence Analysis experience;
- OR HS diploma/GED AND Specialized Training with at least 20 years of Intelligence Analysis experience.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience should be in the field of remote sensing, Geospatial analysis, and all-source analysis.
- Experience should include at least 5 years working supporting the Joint targeting cycle.
- Understanding of the Intelligence Cycle, Collection Management Cycle, Targeting Cycle, and supporting intelligence analytic techniques;
- Understanding of Intelligence Support /Role in the MDMP Senior level research and writing skills;
- Senior knowledge of GEOINT software including RemoteView, SOCET GXP, DIEE, or ArcGIS;
- Experience with photogrammetric principles and techniques;
- Experience in overseeing and executing target development standard as defined in JP 3-60 and CJCSI 3370.01D.
- Training and expert knowledge in basic, intermediate, and advanced target development.
Desired Qualifications/Skills
- GPC-II Imagery Certification;
- Experience with commercial visualization software;
- Experience with MS Office suite of tools;
- Experience presenting at community forums and symposiums;
- Completion of related Army (or service equivalent) 35/350G, 12Y/125D, or 35F/350F military occupational specialty school.
