Senior Targeting Analyst
Description
Please note that the availability of this position is contingent upon award. The Senior Targeting Analyst role requires extensive experience in remote sensing, geospatial analysis, and all‑source analysis, with at least five years supporting the Joint targeting cycle. The incumbent must understand the Intelligence Cycle, Collection Management Cycle, Targeting Cycle, and related intelligence analytic techniques, as well as the role of intelligence support in the MDMP. Senior‑level research and writing skills are required, along with advanced knowledge of GEOINT software such as RemoteView, SOCET GXP, DIEE, or ArcGIS. Experience with photogrammetric principles, target development standards (JP 3‑60, CJCSI 3370.01D), and training in basic, intermediate, and advanced target development is essential.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of current Intelligence Analysis experience supporting the Joint targeting cycle.
- Understanding of the Intelligence Cycle, Collection Management Cycle, Targeting Cycle, and MDMP.
- Senior‑level research and writing capabilities.
- Proficiency with GEOINT software: RemoteView, SOCET GXP, DIEE, or ArcGIS.
- Experience with photogrammetric principles and techniques.
- Experience overseeing and executing target development standards as defined in JP 3‑60 and CJCSI 3370.01D.
- Training and expert knowledge in basic, intermediate, and advanced target development.
Desired Experience
- GPC‑II Imagery Certification.
- Experience with commercial visualization software.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience presenting at community forums and symposiums.
- Completion of related Army (or service equivalent) MOS schools: 35/350G, 12Y/125D, or 35F/350F.
Education
- MA or MS in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or a related field + 5 years current Intelligence Analysis experience.
- BA/BS in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or a related field + at least 10 years current Intelligence Analysis experience.
- High school diploma/GED + specialized training + at least 15 years Intelligence Analysis experience.
Security Clearance
Active TS/SCI required, with the ability to obtain a CI Poly if needed.
