About the role
PacifiCorp is seeking a Senior Talent Development Specialist to support its growing Talent Management team. This role focuses on developing leadership pipelines and supporting various talent programs.
Responsibilities
- Support instructional design, facilitation, and management of leadership development programs.
- Identify capability gaps and align learning initiatives with long-term talent strategies.
- Evaluate program effectiveness using data and analytics.
- Collaborate with business leaders and HR to design and deliver enterprise-wide programs.
- Oversee the development and deployment of learning content, tools, and platforms.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team building.
- Travel as needed to support strategic program delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7+ years of experience in learning and talent development.
- Expertise in instructional design, adult learning theory, and performance consulting.
- Proven ability to use data and analytics to drive decisions and improve outcomes.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives and working with executive leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, LMS platforms, and course-authoring tools.
- Ability to travel as needed, 10-20%.
Qualifications
- Professional certifications in learning or talent development (e.g., CPTD, DiSC, Gallup Strengths Coach).
- Experience with change management, organizational development, or leadership coaching.
- Familiarity with talent analytics or business intelligence tools.
