Senior Tactical Systems Analyst (Weapons Publications) Virginia Beach, VA Salary Range: $85.00-$95.00 per hour DOE Position Summary We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist in the development and refinement of weapon-related aircrew and maintenance technical publications. This is a part-time position. The Advanced Capabilities and Effective Solutions (ACES) Division supports Tactical Air's mission by delivering world class training, products, and support directly to aviators and technicians. Responsibilities Compile and convey various technical and engineering documents to aircrew and munition experts in written and/or oral formDevelop training materials in various formats and platforms such as PowerPoint presentations, oral briefs, and in-flight guides for use by aircrewRegularly interact with and provide guidance, support, and input to internal and external customers, including operational squadrons, weapon school personnel, test squadrons, and program officesEnsure protection of current and potential intellectual and company technologyCrosstrain and assist other priority efforts within ACES Requirements Bachelor's Degree Eight (8) or more years' direct experience with U.S. Department of War (DoW) strike/fighter aircraft and munitionsTravel (10%) to various work sites throughout the U.S. Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI EligibilityEligible for SAP/SAR programsValid State Driver LicenseMust be lawfully eligible to work in the United States, complete a U.S. government I-9 form, and successfully pass a government background check Desired Experience/Skills Strike/Fighter Pilot or Weapons Systems OfficerUSAF/USN/USMC Weapons school graduate, test pilot, weapons school instructor, or FRS/TPU InstructorComprehensive technical and functional knowledge of military weapon systemsEquivalent combination of training, education, and experience in a relevant field or industry will be considered in lieu of degreeExperience with various operational squadrons, training squadrons, test squadrons, program offices, and tactical centers of excellenceFamiliarity or experience with the U.S. Armed Forces and Department of War (DoW) federal contractors and the aerospace, defense, or commercial aviation industryExcellent customer service skillsStrong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projects Work Authorization Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States and complete a U.S. government I-9 FormTactical Air Support is a Drug & Alcohol-Free Workplace.
