Senior Systems Specialist

About the role

Responsible for managing and maintaining complex IT systems, ensuring high availability and performance. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize system solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications.
• Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly.
• Develop and implement system upgrades and enhancements based on user feedback and business needs.
• Collaborate with developers and other IT staff to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
• Document procedures and best practices for system management and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support and system administration.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and network protocols.
• Experience with system monitoring tools and automation scripts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies.

Skills
