About the role
The Senior Systems Integration and Test Engineer will provide systems engineering and integration test support to assess, plan, coordinate, schedule, and implement testing of projects from inception through system transition. This role involves troubleshooting issues, performing data analysis, and implementing solutions to ensure mission-critical defense systems function seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Generate test plans/procedures for assessing Electronic Warfare (EW) system performance
- Create test documentation for verification/acceptance of components, subsystems, and systems
- Execute Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) activities for multidisciplinary Integration and Test teams
- Execute in-house and off-site test activities for system demonstrations and/or system sell-off
- Brief senior program management and engineering leadership
- Test EW hardware and software builds
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline (preferably Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Physics) with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- Experience with EW/Radar systems integration, verification, and validation
- Experience preparing system/subsystem test documentation (e.g., plans, procedures, and reports)
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications
- Experience writing requirements for EW/Radar system test events
- Experience leading system test equipment and special test equipment development activities
- Experience troubleshooting, testing, and integrating EW/Radar system test equipment
- Experience modeling the performance of EW/Radar systems
- Experience with millimeter and microwave RF at both the system and module levels
- Experience with integration of mixed signal modules into the next higher assembly
- Experience with security requirements related to government testing
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture), specifically using SysML
- Flight Test experience
Pay
The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $182,000.
