Program Overview

Provides IC data management support to modernize mega data repositories, dataflow management, data provenance and compliance validation, and streaming solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user requirements and develop Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and high-level system architectures to derive comprehensive system requirements specifications.
  • Lead the analysis of system requirements and drive design and development activities across the lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with users to refine and formalize requirements, evaluate alternative solutions, and conduct feasibility studies to inform decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary Technical Lead, ensuring seamless integration of requirements, system design, and enabling technologies.
  • Develop, document, and implement data flow requirements.
  • Plan, design, and integrate secure, compliant data flow solutions aligned with legal, policy, and regulatory directives.
  • Work with mission data formats across multiple organizations and systems.
  • Review, process, and generate Dataflow Management Requests (DMRs).
  • Translate analytical needs into clear, actionable data and system requirements.
  • Provide customer support to address data flow inquiries, including NPE requests, data remarking, and related data actions.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders and provide status updates on ERB-related topics; represent the organization in external forums and meetings.
  • Provide technical leadership across the full system lifecycle, including requirements elicitation, analysis, functional allocation, architecture development, interface definition, integration, testing, and end-to-end data flow analysis for complex hardware/software systems.
  • Develop and deliver metrics, statistics, and visual reporting (e.g., charts and graphics) to support communications such as newsletters.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Twenty (20) years of Systems Engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity, with demonstrated expertise in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited institution; in lieu of a degree, an additional five (5) years of relevant Systems Engineering experience may be substituted.

Pay

Target salary range: $176,000 - $282,000. Salary is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
