Our IT Rental Operations Products team focuses on developing and supporting mission-critical rental ticketing business capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Implement enhancement changes to high availability rental systems
- Maintain and monitor product health, including capacity planning and emergency response
- Collaborate with various client teams to ensure a consistent customer experience
- Contribute to strategic capacity planning for the department
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams
- Define, develop, and implement standards, processes, and procedures for the team or department
Requirements
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area
- Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours
- 3+ years of experience working in a software development engineering environment supporting languages and technologies such as JAVA, Web Services, C/C++, and PL/SQL
- 2+ years of experience with Middleware use and configuration with Tuxedo, WebLogic and TomCat
- 2+ years of experience as an AIX/Linux sysadmin and experience with associated tools
- 2+ years of experience with scripting for automation, system administration, or application support (e.g., Shell/Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell, or similar)
- 1+ years of experience with Splunk, Dynatrace or equivalent tools
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
- General network engineering background
- Knowledge of system/infrastructure testing, problem solving and troubleshooting concepts
- Knowledge of capacity planning methodologies
- Knowledge of hardware concepts as they apply across infrastructure arenas, including networking devices, topologies and resiliency patterns
- Working knowledge of SQL
