Senior Systems Engineer, ServiceNow

About the role

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for keeping hardware systems, operating systems, and connectivity capabilities fully operational and well-integrated into the Northwestern Medicine information technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain solid technical competence for assigned services and systems.
• Provide technical leadership and support for computing systems and integration.
• Analyze and recommend capacity upgrades to ensure systems reliability.
• Manage customer relationships and coordinate problem determination across the IT environment.
• Develop project plans and support system-to-network connectivity.
• Provide mentoring and act as a resource for the immediate team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in core discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.
