Senior Systems Engineer, Radar Systems Engineer Onsite

About the role

Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a Senior System Integration & Test Engineer to support an early warning radar program within the SI&T Long Range Radars Department.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure electronic hardware setups installed with software builds in a String facility/HWIL for supporting integration, verification, and test activities
• Interface hardware with software, configure installed hardware/software to interface with networked systems, maintain and develop documentation to support integration, test plans, test activities, and resolve technical inquiries
• Participate in integration and test planning/execution, execute verification/validation events, perform analysis, and provide status updates and reach-back assistance to program engineers/leads
• Execute integration activities using test equipment and navigate through schematics, documentation, and drawings
• Collaborate with program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches, maintain configuration control, ensure test set-up readiness, and participate in key processes (peer, gate, and test readiness reviews)
• Confirm test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware
• Willingness to support 20% International travel

Qualifications

• Typically requires degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, and/or other programming language
• Experience with systems engineering, radar data analysis, integration, verification, validation and/or system testing
• Experience with Early Warning Radar systems
