About the role
The Senior Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and quality of hardware/software systems. They will also contribute to architectural decisions and design robust interfaces for seamless integration across MDS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Participate in hardware/software engineering activities such as mission/software assurance, code reviews, static analysis, testing, and engineering reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide input to programs on software architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, security, and performance.
- Ensure hardware/software engineering/assurance processes are acceptable and reports are assessed.
- Provide technical guidance assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in hardware/software engineering processes
- Extensive experience in hardware/software assurance processes
- Experience assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering
- Professional communications and organization skills
- 12+ years of related professional experience
- Master's Degree in relevant STEM Field
- Active Secret Clearance
Qualifications
- MDA Experience
- Knowledge of Agile Engineering Design
- Knowledge of Digital Engineering Principles
- Knowledge of the Missile Defense System (elements, products, and capabilities)
