Senior Systems Engineer
Job Purpose
Responsible for ensuring overall form, fit, and function of new vehicle systems into a single complete system.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute system engineering best practices.
- Define and maintain product level feature specifications, system layout, and documentation.
- Work closely with architectural team to ensure maximum component scalability and modularity.
- Understand intended product end user needs.
- Aid in defining product vision and roadmap.
- Translate stakeholder needs to product requirements.
- Define system level features and decompose those requirements into individual subsystem definitions and requirements.
- Work across multiple engineering disciplines and development teams to coordinate system definition, design, and integration.
- Ensure product aligns with multi-product architectural strategy.
- Ensure product aligns with applicable standards.
- Work with product verification and validation to ensure system and components perform as needed.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field with 5+ years of engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience defining and supporting functional safety assessments and requirements for electronics systems.
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $105,750.00 - $155,100.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
