Senior Systems Engineer (MBSE)
The opportunity: CACI is searching for an accomplished, senior-level Systems Engineer subject matter expert. Systems Engineers work with technical subject matter experts on our development teams, applying their tradecraft and experience to provide our customer with a mission-critical solution. Responsibilities
- Define client requirements for RF solutions, allocate system requirements, and derive requirements to ensure the system architecture is fully defined, understood, and compliant to mission needs.
- Interface with RF systems engineers, antenna designers, transceiver designers, signal processing architects, and mechanical packaging engineers.
- Work with clients in both a long-lead and tactical capacity to help solve their critical needs and challenges.
- Perform analysis, modeling, design, and test using tools such as MATLAB, Systems Toolkit, and GRASP.
- In partnership with others, define total systems design and technology maturity constraints in accordance with mission requirements, develop system element architecture and design and interface definitions, define system implementation approaches and operational concepts.
- Develop models and architectural guidelines for system development, and provide technical direction related to the implementation of system architecture by other staff.
- Provide technical recommendations to executive program and engineering leaders.
Qualifications
- Proven thought leadership for defining innovative, creative, and cost-effective design solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in RF systems requirements analysis, system architecture design, and signals decomposition.
- Demonstrated leadership in defining RF systems design, collaborating with diverse, cross-functional, and geographically dispersed hardware and software teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related major.
- 10+ years of experience specifically leading, designing, and developing RF solutions.
- Experience with MATLAB or equivalent modeling tools.
Skills
- Experience using MBSE tools such as CameoEA, DOORS, Rhapsody (desired).
- Experience mentoring junior systems engineers (desired).
- Experience briefing program and customer executives (desired).

Pay
The proposed salary range for this position is $114,600–$252,100. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
Minimum clearance required to start: TS/SCI. Employee type: Regular. Percentage of travel required: Up to 10%, continental US.
