Senior Systems Engineer - MBSE

Responsibilities
- Support the planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
- Provide independent review and cross-program coordination to ensure subsystem designs are compatible
- Define, develop, and manage system requirements in coordination with other project staff
- Create system design documents and specifications
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure system performance and compliance
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Perform MBSE planning and activities associated with management of a very large modeling project involving an inter-disciplinary team
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 6-9 years of experience with preference for experience in the aerospace and defense industry; candidates with less experience who have a track record of proven high performance will also be considered
- Proficiency employing MBSE principles on complex programs, including implementing MBSE methodologies such as OOSEM and using MBSE tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw to model systems in languages such as SysML
- Experience in executing complex system development using Agile processes, including integration of Systems Engineering workflows and activities with overall program management and detailed engineering design
- Experience with requirements management tools, such as DOORS or Jama
- Experience with FAA and/or Military Certification processes and requirements
- Experience or certification in INCOSE standards
- Experience with aircraft data systems, aircraft communication data links, and/or Electronic Warfare (EW) systems
- Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Important Notice
The pay range for this role is: 120,000 - 165,000 USD per year (Hybrid (Denver, Colorado, US))
