Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting the LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of the product, from concept to deployment. The position can be primarily based out of Tewksbury or Marlborough, MA, with occasional travel to Andover, MA or Pelham, NH required.
Responsibilities
- Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.
- Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
- Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
- Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
- Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
- Work with and lead a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
- Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
- Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.
- Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.
- Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date; Secret‑level clearance must be active and existing on day 1.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
- Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
Skills
- Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.
- Experience with model‑based engineering.
- Experience developing and managing requirements.
- Experience developing scripts and functions with MATLAB.
- Experience with C++, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience generating technical documentation such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
- Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field supporting integration and/or verification.
- Experience evaluating systems using simulated environments.
- Experience interfacing with internal and external customers.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $86,800 USD – $165,200 USD.
