Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for execution of design/turbine operation changes to eliminate causes of turbine forced outages in warranty fleet and core fleet
- Identify and develop programs to drive down time to return units to service
- Partner with Program Management and Product Line to guide optimal design decisions for current products, new products, and commercial deals to achieve business objectives
- Lead technical program teams on system trade-offs and optimizations with a focus on the reduction of Services costs through elimination of forced outages
- Communicate and provide recommendations through analysis, preparation and presentation of technical material to internal and external audiences
- Lead Services investments from pre-conceptual design work through design, validation and launch, prioritizing and managing risks on safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Contribute to development of the Multigeneration Engineering Plan for Services, focused on improving operations through reliability and cost
- Work with Systems Leaders to leverage lessons learned, best practices, process improvements and standard work
- Support and improve the availability and serviceability of existing wind turbine fleet
- Contribute to new and existing design practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 years of significant experience in Engineering/Technology
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience working on wind turbine system and/or services related projects

Pay
The pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
