Senior Systems Engineer - Air Traffic Solutions (Onsite)

About the Role
Join the Air Traffic Solutions – Whole Life Engineering Department (ATS-WLE) as a Systems Engineering and End of Life (EOL) material management specialist. Collaborate with a team of 50+ engineers supporting globally deployed Air Traffic Control (ATC) and related systems, including Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) and Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS). These systems provide vital safety-of-life air traffic management support for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Department of Defense (DoD), and international counterparts, enabling seamless control and navigation for civil and military aviation.
Responsibilities
- Capture End of Life (EOL) material data as part of vital program sustainment efforts.
- Develop End of Life (EOL) material forecasts.
- Perform material requirements and availability analyses.
- Update End of Life (EOL) material tracking data.
- Prepare regular End of Life (EOL) data report deliveries and ensure continued, effective communication with program and customer leadership.
Requirements
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- 2 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Property/Asset Management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing research, executing transactions, and tracking material in SAP (APEX/PRISM).
- Experience analyzing and reporting on obsolescence of Consumer Off the Shelf (COTS) equipment.
- Experience utilizing engineering drawings and schematics to build or maintain hardware systems.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience providing primary communication of technical information to management, customers, and other engineering team members.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $86,800 - $165,200 USD. The range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Factors considered include role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
