Responsibilities
- Work with the GMASS program to develop and implement approved modernization efforts within specified performance, cost, and schedule objectives.
- Perform functional analysis, trend analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications.
- Provide specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools to efficiently solve analysis needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
- Tasks may include Systems Analyst activities related to Information Technology or Engineering, such as:
- Performing analysis on real and simulated mission data.
- Cleaning and analyzing mission data.
- Formulating concept of operations.
- Monitoring and reporting on Missile Warning and Missile Defense performance metrics.
- Consulting with government and site radar partners to identify key analyses and Key Performance Parameters (KPIs).
- Preparing regular and ad-hoc test analysis reports for laboratory and radar site testing.
- Identifying patterns, trends, and insights to improve radar performance.
- Designing and developing radar algorithms in MATLAB Modeling and Simulation (M&S) environment.
- Participating in Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Sprint Closeout.
- Documenting algorithm designs in System Modeling Language (SysML).
- Designing unit and integration tests to verify developed models or scenarios.
- Briefing findings to government and program leadership.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Physics, or Engineering preferred).
- At least 5 years of full-time professional experience for mid-level positions, or 18 years or more for senior positions.
- An active Secret clearance.
- A U.S. citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience applying principles and techniques of system analysis.
- Ability to perform analysis of user / mission needs and existing system capabilities and identify gaps.
- Knowledge of the UEWR and PARCS radar systems and technologies supporting ground-based space Missile Warning, Missile Defense, and Space Domain Missions.
- Previous experience on SENSOR or SMORS contracts.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Working knowledge of software analysis in MATLAB and Object-Oriented Programming.

The final compensation for this position is determined by a variety of factors, such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
Schedule
Work daily in Colorado Springs, CO at various office locations.
