Senior Systems Analyst

About the role

This position will be responsible for executing all aspects of our Finance process and Evolution efforts at the Corporate office through thoughtful and creative innovation. The role helps Finance advance care for colleagues by streamlining processes and eliminating mundane tasks, enabling colleagues to focus on higher-value analytical work that drives business insights, reduces costs, and increases hotel-level profitability.

Responsibilities

• Translate identified business needs into technical requirements and design, develop, deploy, and support sustainable transformative solutions such as dashboards, scorecards, and process automation.
• Perform data manipulation using tools including Alteryx, Tableau, RPA, SAS, or SQL queries and database stored procedures.
• Estimate project efforts and resources, provide periodic status updates, and schedule/participate in design sessions with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT departments (Financial Systems, ServiceNow, Data & Analytics, etc.) to ensure best-in-class solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt’s change management program: move workflows to UAT, assist with UAT defects, update defect logs, move workflows to production, monitor solution health, and resolve production incidents.
• Evaluate new technologies to streamline processes and drive cost reduction/avoidance.
• Maintain a global focus to share solutions and knowledge with teams worldwide.
• Provide training and continuous monitoring during and after project completion to ensure adherence to changed processes.
• Encourage adoption of innovative products and an “Evolution Mindset” among colleagues resistant to change.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with process reimagining and automation.
• Strong experience in requirement gathering and business process analysis.
• Hands-on skills and experience with Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Server, and related tools (Predictive, Parsing, Transforms) are a plus.
• Experience with Tableau and other RPA solutions is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

Additional Requirements

• Solid organizational skills with a focus on meeting project deadlines and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel to other Hyatt offices (10–20%).
• Proactive nature with minimal supervision while managing competing priorities.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to work off-hours as required.
• For remote work, ability to adhere to IT requirements, including high-speed internet (DSL, Cable, or Fiber-Optic; cellular-based services are not allowed) and providing provider certification upon request.
