Senior Systems Administrator IBM DataCap

Job Description

The client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Administrator with extensive expertise in IBM DataCap, FileNet Image Services, Windows Server Administration, and enterprise application support environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain IBM DataCap 9.1.3 environments.
• Support and maintain FileNet Image Services 4.2.0 platforms.
• Perform Windows Server administration, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and operational efficiency.
• Maintain network, server, and application performance.
• Manage enterprise-level code promotion and change management processes.
• Provide Web Application Server administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Develop project specifications, implementation plans, and technical solutions.
• Produce testing, validation, and verification documentation for system modifications.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards and operational procedures.
• Communicate project status to leadership, stakeholders, and project sponsors.
• Auxiliary in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and issue resolution activities.
• Maintain detailed technical and operational documentation.

Additional Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly status reports and monthly executive reports.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
• Support implementation of high-profile enterprise technology initiatives.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to identify and implement solutions.
• Auxiliary in budget tracking, communication plans, risk plans, and project documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations for system improvements.
• Support legislative and executive reporting requirements when needed.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of overall Information Technology experience.
• 6+ years of IBM DataCap 9.1.3 configuration and programming experience.
• 6+ years of FileNet Image Services 4.2.0 administration and maintenance.
• 6+ years of PowerShell scripting experience.
• 6+ years of Windows Server administration and configuration.
• 6+ years of Web Application Server administration and performance tuning.
• 6+ years of enterprise change management and code promotion experience.
• 6+ years of network and server performance monitoring experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience creating technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Florida State Government or other public sector environments.
• Experience managing high-profile enterprise implementations.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Experience Working Across Multiple Technologies And Business Functions.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Microsoft certifications are preferred.
