Senior Systems Administrator

About the role

Our client is searching for a Systems Administrator for a temp-to-perm position in the Houston, TX area. This position will be on site. The IT System Administrator will maintain, support, and optimize the organization’s IT, software, and network systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain software and network systems.
• Monitor and maintain systems running on servers to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement and maintain IT security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and patch management.
• Assist in deploying and supporting enterprise applications and cloud services.
• Monitor system performance and perform routine backups to ensure data integrity.
• Write and maintain scripts or programs to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to IT systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
