Senior Systems Administrator
Responsibilities
- Maintains system resources, monitors CPU, disk usage, and response times.
- Performs systems security administration, creates user profiles and accounts.
- Manages system documentation, tunes system performance, installs software, allocates storage space.
- Interacts with users, evaluates vendor products, makes recommendations for hardware/software purchases, coordinates installations, and provides backup recovery.
- Develops and monitors policies and standards for computing resource allocation.
- Makes recommendations for purchasing hardware and software.
- Coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
- Makes recommendations for purchasing hardware and software.
- May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance.
- At least one Advanced Platform Certification: RHCSA, RHCE, or Windows equivalent.
- Minimum 8–12 years of progressively responsible systems administration experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise, multi-user environments in DoD or Intelligence Community settings preferred.
- Experience operating in classified environments.

Pay
Target salary range: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00.
Schedule
“Normal work hours” constitute on average 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week (excluding breaks and meal periods) within standard operational hours occurring 0600-1800, Monday-Friday, excluding Federal holidays. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
