Senior Support Tech I - 1st Shift

Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Senior Support Tech I - 1st Shift.

About the role

The hourly rate for this position is $25.88-$27.17 per hour. The shift hours are 7am-3:30pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance
• Collaborate with team members
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Use/evaluate mechanical systems, common tools and measuring equipment
• Independently perform low and moderate complexity manufacturing operations following written instructions
• Setup, operate, and maintain equipment required for use in manufacturing processes
• Able to setup, operate, and maintain equipment required for use in manufacturing processes
• Identify and communicate troubleshooting instructions/process aid opportunities
• Have a working experience with special process manufacturing systems, and able to troubleshoot moderate issues without supervision
• Be able to read and interpret drawings

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• 4 years of relevant manufacturing/mechanical experience or 6 years combined manufacturing & Military experience
• Proficient various hand tools, measuring tools, and manufacturing equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with trade certification or equivalent experience
• 6 years of manufacturing special processes (spring/lap)

Position Criteria

• Ability to communicate effectively, manage time and adapt to various work environments
• Demonstrated understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts
• Follows work instructions, perform tasks without supervision and assist others
