Senior Supply Planning Manager
About the role
The salary range for this position is expected to be between $150,000.00 – $175,000.00 per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply planning, mastering capacity, production flow, and inventory health.
- Architect master production schedules (MPS) that perfectly align with ambitious demand forecasts.
- Spearhead our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, acting as the bridge between Operations, Finance, and Sales.
- Master the art of balancing elite service levels with lean inventory investment.
- Proactively identify and extinguish supply risks before they reach the production floor.
- Mentor and grow a talented team, fostering a culture of radical accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Procurement, Engineering, and Quality to ensure flawless product delivery.
- Define and own the KPIs that drive our success, from plan adherence to OTIF metrics.
- Champion the evolution of our ERP/MRP systems to modernize how we operate.
- Serve as the supply planning lead for new product introductions and lifecycle transitions.
Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of high-level supply chain/planning experience with a track record of leadership.
- Deep experience within complex, high-precision manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in S&OP, ERP/MRP mastery, and sophisticated inventory optimization.
- A natural ability to lead, influence, and align cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical intuition: the ability to see the story behind the data.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the polish to persuade and negotiate at all levels.
- Background in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies preferred.
