Senior Supply Chain Manager, Global Logistics, Domestic First Mile Cost
About the role
The Senior Supply Chain Manager will own the Length of Haul (LOH) optimization strategy and Cost Per Unit (CPU) reduction for Amazon's Domestic First Mile network. This role is crucial for influencing billions in annual transportation spend.
Responsibilities
Own the LOH optimization strategy end-to-end, from setting annual targets to executing initiatives.
Develop deep expertise in Amazon's inbound network design and inventory placement systems, and find opportunities to reduce distance through various methods.
Partner with product management, technology, finance, and operations teams to define requirements, write business cases, and deliver solutions that permanently reduce cost per unit.
Leverage data analytics, AI, and automation to build scalable insights, dashboards, and attribution models, and lead vendor-facing initiatives.
Requirements
5+ years of program or project management experience.
Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects.
Knowledge of at least one data-focused technology tool, such as Python, SQL, Alteryx, Amazon QuickSight, or similar.
Master's degree or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related quantitative field.
Experience in transportation optimization or supply chain within a high-volume logistics, manufacturing, or e-commerce environment.
Track record of influencing technical product roadmaps and driving system-level changes in complex, matrixed organizations.
Experience with AI/ML technologies for automation, insight generation, or predictive modeling.
Qualifications

Pay
Base salary range: $115,400.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually
