Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in production planning, warehouse management, inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
  • Develop and implement cost reduction strategies to maximize profitability without sacrificing product quality or delivery timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR and D-FAR regulations in all supply chain activities.
  • Forecast demand to ensure the availability of products and resources, taking proactive measures to avoid supply shortages or excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve the supply chain process.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Establish strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts to secure advantageous terms.
  • Train and mentor supply chain staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management in the Engineering industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Must have experience managing direct reports with supply chain and operations.
  • Aerospace/Defense industry experience is a must.
  • Experience working in a high-mix, low-volume environment with complex electronic components and large BOMs.
  • Proficient in production planning, warehouse management, cost reduction strategies, inventory control, and shipping and receiving.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR and D-FAR regulations.
  • Proficient in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Strong commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity.

Pay

$110,000 – $160,000 per year
