Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team, including purchasing, planning, logistics, and inventory control.
- Oversee full-cycle procurement and material planning to support production schedules (standard and custom builds).
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, lead time, quality, and supplier performance.
- Manage supplier relationships, including qualification, performance monitoring, corrective actions (CAPA), and negotiations.
- Collaborate with Engineering on new product introductions, alternate sourcing, and early supplier involvement.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, QA/QC, Operations, and Finance to align supply chain activities with business needs.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier contracts, and documentation to support audits.
- Drive cost reduction, continuous improvement, and supply chain risk mitigation initiatives.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards; present supply chain performance to executive leadership.
- Manage shipping, packaging, and logistics in accordance with customer requirements.
- Oversee supplier data integrity and continuous improvement programs focused on quality and delivery performance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or supplier management, with a focus on expediting and PO execution.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing supply chain or purchasing teams.
- Strong experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
- Experience working in ISO-regulated environments (ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 required; AS9100 preferred).
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (Sage, NetSuite required).
- Industry certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CPM/CPPM) are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- High level of initiative, accountability, and adaptability
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of MS Office
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment, working extended hours (as needed).
Pay
Salary Range: $160,000 – $210,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
