Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

About the Role

As a key member of the Quality Team, the Senior Supplier Quality Engineer will manage product quality through the implementation of supplier/contract manufacturer evaluation procedures, use of risk management tools, and auditing of current and prospective vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and manage the risks associated with supplied materials through the following activities:
• Maintain and implement quality system procedures for supplier evaluation
• Use risk management tools to identify and mitigate supplier risks
• Participate in the supplier selection and monitoring process
• Audit current or future suppliers to ensure their compliance to quality system requirements and material specifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related scientific field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance
• Expertise in ISO 13485 and 21CFR compliant quality systems
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Significant experience and expertise with internal and external auditing

Technical Skills

• Expertise applying statistical methods to quality assurance
• Ability to advise others on complex matters
• Knowledge of system integrations, workflow automation, and digital HR solutions
