Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Work with the Material Review Board (MRB) to review and process quality notifications, generate and send supplier quality notifications (SQNs), and coordinate with suppliers to acknowledge and resolve issues. Perform containment, correction, root‑cause analysis, and preventive actions, initiate and close Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), and drive part qualification through the APQP process while collaborating with internal teams such as R&D, supply chain, and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Review and process QNs with the Material Review Board (MRB).
• Generate supplier quality notifications (SQNs) and send them to suppliers.
• Discuss issues with suppliers and ensure acknowledgment of SQNs.
• Perform containment, correction, root‑cause analysis, and preventive actions for issues.
• Initiate SCARs for supplier‑caused quality problems and collaborate with suppliers to close them promptly.
• Drive part qualification following the APQP process.
• Work with internal teams (R&D, supply chain, procurement, etc.) to support quality initiatives.
• Guide suppliers through APQP deliverables.
• Use statistical techniques to assess process capability.
• Perform process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) before approving mass production.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or vocational education in Engineering Science, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
• Well‑versed with SAP and IT tools (Microsoft suite) – advantageous.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement Techniques, or equivalent.
