Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree, plus 6 months relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Designs, implements, and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
- Designs methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment, and finished products.
- Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary.
- Reviews Documents/Drawings/Instructions for conformance to requirements.
- Compares defects against standards and recommends dispositions; verifies implementation of rework.
- Collects, organizes, and analyzes project data; generates and/or reviews metrics.
- Performs audits, assigns corrective action, and verifies implementation.
- Participates in project reviews and meetings including technical design reviews and technical peer reviews.
- Verifies compliance to defined requirements.
- Witnesses and/or monitors test activities.
- Receives instructions from immediate supervisor.
- Works under general supervision and interfaces with various engineering disciplines, manufacturing, program management, and other quality personnel.
- Works as an individual technical contributor on one or multiple projects.
- Participates as an active member of the project team and interfaces with customer representatives.
- Provides resolution to problems of moderate scope.
- Travel may be required.
- Security clearance may be required.
Skills
- Very solid knowledge of engineering (i.e., software, electrical, systems, etc.) methodologies, tools, and standards.
- Very solid knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, CMMI, ISO 14001, ASME, ANSI, EIA, etc.
- Very solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Very solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think creatively and multi-task.
- Very solid skills in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions.
- Very solid ability to clearly recognize and report relevant to sound quality engineering practices.
- Very solid knowledge of interpretation of drawings.
- Very solid skills in reviewing documents/drawings/instructions for conformance to requirements.

Schedule
This position is fully on-site at the Bloomington, MN facility.
Pay
Target salary range: USD $89,505.00/Yr. - USD $99,295.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
