SENIOR SUPERVISOR -TECHNICAL PRODUCT DEVT(Remote)

The Role

Solventum Clinical and Economic Research is seeking a highly motivated leader for teams developing software products used domestically and internationally to ensure accurate grouping, editing, and reimbursement of health care claims and to improve the quality of health care. Our cross-functional agile/Scrum teams develop a mix of Java applications and legacy applications that with the help of agentic AI we're actively redeveloping and rearchitecting to better suit our customer's needs both on premises and in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct technical supervision of one or more teams responsible for developing 3M HIS products, including Developers and Quality Assurance. This includes hiring, establishing and tracking goals and objectives, assigning workload, training, and facilitating the performance review process.
• Aid Technical Product Owner for a team working both to deliver HIS grouping content under the existing technology stack while simultaneously architecting and developing the replacement technology stack in a methodical manner.
• Set technical direction and establish, prioritize and work with the development team to define and update the team’s backlog in concert with Tech Leads.
• Mentor development staff with duties such as analysis, software design, prototyping, coding, debugging, test case creation, test case automation, test case execution, documentation, support, infrastructure maintenance.
• Participate on cross-functional teams, coordinate and communicate with Product Owners, Business Leaders, Developers and others.
• Champion Agile principles throughout the organization Create an atmosphere of innovation and enable professional growth Conflict / Change management ownership to ensure productivity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a Computer Science or Information Systems discipline from an accredited university
• Five (5) years of software development experience
• Three (3) years team leadership experience (supervisor, manager, team lead)

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with Generative AI, MCP, Agentic workflows
• Experience with consuming Web services and web application development (SOAP/REST, Javascript/Angular)
• Experience CI/CD
• Experience with Java software development
• Familiar with SQL and relational database design
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working with distributed team members
• Ability to solve problems in a logical, methodical, and time efficient manner
