Senior Superintendent - South Shore/Cape Cod

About the role

The Sr. Construction Superintendent will oversee diverse and complex ground-up and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with contract documents, drawings, and specifications under the direction of the Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Support contract, subcontract documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Check and verify subcontractor layout to ensure compliance with established control, line, and grade.
• Monitor production rates and record them in a logbook for future scheduling.
• Maintain and update production documents daily to reflect accurate work in place.
• Report all field conditions and issues to the Superintendent.
• Monitor job progress on-site, ensuring compliance with contract documents and the Quality Control Program.
• Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop and execute the project plan and schedule.
• Prepare documentation to facilitate the close-out process as directed by the Superintendent.
• Mentor and coach field engineers to support their professional development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Lead Superintendent experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Commercial project experience with a general contractor.
• Experience managing projects valued at $10M–$50M.
• Strong ability to communicate with subcontractors and project team members.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Excellent multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
