Senior Superintendent, Foundations - Michels Construction, Inc.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate schedules and resources for field operations
  • Communicate project scope to Foremen
  • Ensure safety processes such as JSAs and inspections are completed
  • Attend client meetings
  • Manage materials and tooling needs
  • Verify daily QA/QC and as-built documentation
  • Review time and field reports
  • Work closely with the Project Manager
  • Develop Foremen and trade staff
  • Contribute to efficient, safe, and consistent project execution

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience including as a superintendent in the deep foundation industry
  • Knowledge of deep foundation, earth retention and/or ground improvement construction techniques
  • Experience with Augercast piles, Rigid Inclusions, Aggregate Piers, Caissons/Drilled Shafts, Micropiles, Tiebacks, Anchors, Grouting, Driven Piles, and Earth Retention/Support of Excavation Systems
  • Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
  • Ability to travel and commit to long term onsite projects

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Experience with project management software
  • Understanding of construction safety protocols

Pay

Expected Salary Range: $132,000 - $182,000 USD
